Milton Bradley losing his temper as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers. While I do not always agree with everything Milton says and does, I think dudes like him are vital to the game in a weird twisted way. In my opinion, Baseball will always need hot-headed “villains” like Bradley.

Photo of the gruesome collision between outfielders Carlon Beltran and Mike Cameron of the New York Mets in August 2005. Cameron broke his nose, lost four teeth, and broke both of his cheekbones and did not play again for the rest of the season.

Jackie Robinson being congratulated after hitting his first homerun after breaking the color barrier as a member of the Montreal Royals in 1946.

2 players who love the game and continue to play regardless whether their Major League careers have been over for decades: Bill “Spaceman” Lee and Dennis “Oil Can” Boyd.

2 players who once ruled the game and have both left entirely different legacies in Baseball now that their playing careers are over: Barry Bonds and Tony Gwynn.

Larry Doby & Friends.

The 2nd photo which includes Doby with Jim “Mudcat” Grant and a very aged Satchel Paige is one of my favorite baseball photos ever. Also, check out the 2nd to last photo and read the caption regarding the helmet.

I know this a few weeks late but I hope Sweet Lou enjoys his retirement. Thought I would throw together a little collection of cool photos of Lou. He will be missed from the game.

Now time to get that lead padded again. Let’s go Friars!…Sorry for my Padres bias kicking in, the 10 game losing streak was literally driving me crazy.

Satchel Paige playing guitar in the Cleveland Indians clubhouse sometime during the 1948 or 1949 season.

Chris Sabo. Who else better to use in a Lenscrafters ad campaign in the early 1990’s?

Bud Harrelson of the Mets and Pete Rose of the Reds fight at 2nd base during Game 3 of the 1973 NLCS.

Bo Jackson won the All-Star game MVP in 1989. After an amazing catch in which he robbed Pedro Guerrero of the Cardinals of a potential 2 run double in the top of first inning, Jackson then hit  a monster 448 foot homerun off of Rick Reuschel of the Giants in the bottom of the same inning.

Bill “The Spaceman” Lee and manager Don Zimmer of the Red Sox arguing in the dugout in the late 1970’s. It’s safe to say that their relationship was “rocky” at best.
