Dorothy Kamenshek played with the Rockford Peaches of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1943 to 1951 and in 1953. During that time she was a 7 time All-Star, won 2 batting titles and became the all-time league batting average leader. She is played by Gina Davis in the 1992 movie A League Of Their Own and is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
