I still remember watching the 1991 World Series like it was yesterday. I was in 6th grade and rooting SO hard for the Twins. Why did I? No other reason then the fact that Kirby Puckett was their Center fielder. I think every little boy from my generation loved Kirby. Just thought I’d show a little love via a little collection of photos. Enjoy!

On June 16, 2007 Chris Young of the San Diego Padres and Derrek Lee of the Chicago Cubs took part in a nice little fight. I remember seeing them both in the National League dugout next to each other a month later during the All-Star game and they didn’t even acknowledge each other. Awkward.

Sammy Sosa taking one in the helmet. Still so gnarly.

Lenny Dykstra on a ridiculous poster from the early 90’s. As a kid I loved this but now as an adult I feel much differently as it kinda makes me feel uncomfortable.

Jim Edmonds of the Cardinals making one of his many highlight film catches. I am convinced that some of the catches he was making during his prime could probably not be caught by anyone else of his generation of ball players.
